Physical Therapist

Job Summary

We are looking for a licensed, compassionate, and motivated Physical Therapist to join our growing team at Axis Therapy Services in College Station, Texas. This new position is primarily an orthopedic role.

Responsibilities

· Evaluate and treat patients with various orthopedic conditions.

· Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and diagnoses.

· Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and overall function.

· Educate patients and their families on exercise and recovery strategies.

· Supervise PTA's and technicians to enhance efficiency and promote a team environment.

· Utilize and be willing to learn manual techniques as needed to promote healing such as trigger point release and joint mobilization to address specific deficits.

· Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.

· Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

· Valid Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

· DPT or equivalent.

· Excellent communication and patient centered care skills.
