Role Description

The Business Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Cheyenne, WY. The person in this role will gather, clean, and analyze business and operational data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.

Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining reports and dashboards, performing statistical and trend analyses, and developing data models that reflect business processes and key performance indicators.

The Business Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business questions into analytical problems, and communicate findings in clear, business-friendly formats. This role also involves documenting methodologies, validating data quality, and recommending improvements to data collection and reporting practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Analytics.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and practical experience applying statistical methods to business data.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Modeling and designing data structures that support reporting and analysis.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for presenting complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL or similar query languages is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, modern data platforms, and basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
