About this role
Ecommerce Account Manager – Marketplace Channels
Amazon Vendor & Seller Central | Walmart | Wayfair | Home Depot | Lowe’s and more
Pennsauken, NJ | Reports to EVP | Annual Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (dependent on experience)
Arett Sales Corporation is a 75-year-old, family-owned wholesale distributor of lawn, garden, home, and outdoor living products. Our ecommerce business is growing fast, and we're investing in AI and modern data tools to help it grow smarter. We're looking for an account manager who can own our marketplace relationships day to day and use data and AI to stay a step ahead of them.
The Role
You'll be the owner of Arett's online marketplace accounts — Amazon (Vendor Central and Seller Central), Walmart, Wayfair, and other platforms as we expand. That means managing the catalog, protecting margin, keeping listings healthy, resolving operational issues, and turning sales and performance data into clear decisions.
This isn't a set-it-and-forget-it role. The best person here uses AI tools and analytics every day to work faster, catch problems early, and find growth opportunities others miss. You'll work closely with leadership, purchasing, warehouse operations, and our suppliers to keep every channel running and growing.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day performance of Arett's accounts on Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace / Supplier Center, Wayfair Partner Home, and additional ecommerce platforms
- Own product listings and catalog health — content, images, attributes, pricing, variations, and compliance with each platform's requirements
- Monitor sales, inventory, and replenishment; review purchase orders, forecasts, and in-stock rates, and coordinate with purchasing and the warehouse to prevent stockouts and overstock
- Track account health metrics (fill rate, on-time shipping, order defects, returns) and resolve issues before they affect ratings or visibility
- Manage chargebacks, shortages, deductions, and disputes, including Amazon A-to-Z claims and vendor compliance issues — research root causes and recover dollars owed
- Build and analyze reports on sales trends, margin, advertising, and channel performance; present clear recommendations to leadership
- Use AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to draft listing content, analyze data, summarize reports, and streamline repetitive account tasks
- Plan and support promotions, deals, and advertising campaigns across channels, and measure their return
- Act as the main point of contact with marketplace account teams and support, and partner with suppliers on new item setup and content
- Research and recommend new marketplace opportunities as we expand our online presence
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience managing accounts on Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central; experience with Walmart and Wayfair strongly preferred
- Working, hands-on use of AI platforms in your daily workflow — you can show how you've used AI to save time, improve content, or analyze information
- Strong data analytics skills: advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, formulas), comfort with large datasets, and the ability to turn numbers into action
- Experience with marketplace reporting tools (e.g., Amazon Retail Analytics / Brand Analytics, Walmart Retail Link or Scintilla, Wayfair partner reports)
- Solid understanding of marketplace operations: catalog management, PO and replenishment workflows, chargebacks, and account health
- Organized and self-directed — you can juggle multiple platforms and priorities without losing track of details
- Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, platform reps, and suppliers.
- Familiarity using agentic Ai’s is required (Claude Cowork, Codex).
- Must be a power user in excel.
- Must live within reasonable commuting distance due to the hybrid requirements
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketplace advertising (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Wayfair Sponsored Products)
- Background in lawn & garden, home, outdoor living, or other consumer products distribution
- Familiarity with ERP systems, EDI, or 3PL / warehouse fulfillment workflows
Why Arett?
You'll have real ownership of a growing part of our business, with the backing of a stable, multi-generational family company. We give you the tools — including AI and modern analytics — and the trust to use them. If you like the pace of ecommerce, love digging into data, and want your work to show up directly in the results, we'd love to hear from you.
