Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a hospital setting requiring 18 months of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Pulmonary telemetry unit setting
• 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Utilizes Meditech charting system

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• 18 months of telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required to start
• Experience with IV insertion and PICC lines required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care including IV insertion and PICC line management
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request allowed per assignment
