Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring GA or compact RN license and 18 months of ICU experience for a long-term assignment in Warner Robins, GA.

Details

• ICU unit (4W ICU) assignment at a hospital in Warner Robins, GA
• 13-week assignment with AM shift, 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to float to other departments across facilities, including a sister hospital, based on department-based rotation
• Uses Meditech and Epic charting systems

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Vent management and IV insertion skills required
• PICC line experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at start

Additional Information

• Interview process includes a nurse manager interview
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former employees of the health system must be separated for 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
