Description

American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for a Level 3 Trauma Center, requiring an active IA OT license and prior OT experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Some weekend coverage requested
• No on-call requirements
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
• Active BLS certification required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Prior OT experience required
• Mandatory Reporter certification required
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within the last two years required
• Discipline-specific skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments at other UPH markets within 12 months
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day)
• Limited to one day-off request during designated holiday blackout periods
• Scrub color requirement: dark grey/charcoal
