Business Intelligence Developer

Alexander Technology Group is partnering with an Aerospace & Defense contractor looking to hire a Business Intelligence Engineer. This position will require being on-site in Portsmouth NH daily.

The MS Business Intelligence Developer partners with stakeholders, analysts, and end users to transform business data into dashboards, reports, and data-driven applications across multiple business units, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Analyze data and deliver reporting solutions, including dashboards, scorecards, and data discovery tools Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Provide troubleshooting, technical guidance, and consultative support to clients Maintain documentation, test plans, and code repositories Ensure compliance with established standards and best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in MS BI development Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with Excel, SQL Server, SSAS, and SSRS; ability to write optimized SQL queries Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including DAX and data modeling Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience with Tableau or Qlik is a plus Experience with Azure DevOps/Git and Visual Studio preferred Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in team environments Additional Requirements U.S.
