About this role
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the execution of complex, cross-functional technical programs. As we scale — expanding globally, launching new payments, lending, and embedded finance capabilities, and modernizing core platforms — the need for disciplined program coordination across engineering and partner groups has grown significantly.
The ideal candidate is technically fluent, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at turning many moving parts into predictable, transparent delivery. This role coordinates work across Engineering, Solution Architecture, Infrastructure, SRE, Security, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, and other groups to deliver initiatives on time and with quality.
Responsibilities
· Develop and drive strategic technical program plans that align cross-functional teams with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets
· Own program execution end-to-end — managing scope, dependencies, risks, milestones, and roadblocks across multiple engineering and partner teams
· Coordinate delivery across Infrastructure, SRE, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Security, Solution Architecture, Product, and other groups
· Maintain RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and drive transparent, data-driven status reporting to stakeholders and leadership
· Facilitate agile ceremonies, planning, and cross-team coordination to keep programs on schedule
· Coordinate production testing (performance, security, integration, UAT) and drive operational readiness — monitoring, rollback plans, runbooks, SLAs, and incident response procedures
· Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Security to coordinate reviews and secure sign-offs at program gates
· Identify risks early, unblock teams, and escalate appropriately to keep committed timelines on track
· Provide technical fluency in discussions of architecture, scalability, infrastructure, and implementation to bridge engineering and business stakeholders
· Coordinate across time zones between US and Israel teams, ensuring seamless hand-offs and shared program visibility
Qualifications
· 7+ years of technical program or project management experience delivering complex, multi-team technical programs
· Deep understanding of complex technical environments — distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and platform architecture — with the fluency to engage credibly on design and delivery trade-offs
· Proven track record managing complex technical projects with many inter-dependencies across multiple teams and committed timelines
· Exceptional coordination and communication skills, effective at all levels of an organization — from individual engineers to executive leadership and external partners
· Experience coordinating production testing, operational readiness, and compliance/risk sign-offs in a regulated environment
· Proficiency with program and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and agile methodologies
· Experience working across distributed, cross-timezone teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
· Experience in banking, finance, or fintech is helpful, but not required
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
· Experience coordinating payments, lending, card processing, or core banking programs
· Familiarity with global expansion, multi-region deployments, or regulatory certification programs
· Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, etc.)
· Experience establishing a TPM function or maturing program-management practices from the ground up
Leadership
This is one of two Senior Technical Program Manager roles. Based on experience, seniority, and demonstrated leadership capability, one of these roles may take on leadership of the TPM function — including mentoring and managing the other Senior TPM — to mature program-management practices across the organization.
Key Metrics of Success
This role drives outcomes through influence, coordination, and communication rather than direct authority over delivery teams. Success is measured by how effectively the TPM enables teams to deliver:
· Programs kept on track toward committed milestones through proactive coordination, early risk identification, and effective escalation
· Dependencies surfaced, tracked, and driven to resolution before they become blockers
· Production testing and compliance/risk sign-offs coordinated and completed on schedule at program gates
· Program health and delivery transparency consistently maintained and communicated across initiatives
· Strong, trusted working relationships that enable effective cross-team and cross-timezone coordination across engineering and partner groups
