Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for an urgent 12-week contract assignment at a Community Health Center in Alexandria, VA. The selected candidate will provide high-quality physical therapy services and work collaboratively with patients and the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy treatments based on patient needs and clinical requirements.
• Monitor and document patient progress.
• Modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.
• Educate patients and caregivers on appropriate therapeutic exercises and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Required/basic clinical credentials.
• Relevant Physical Therapy experience.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work the scheduled Monday–Friday shift.

Pay: $58.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

• Physical Thearpist: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• AHA- BLS (Required)
• Physical Therapy License (Required)
