Physical Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and improve quality of life. You will work closely with patients in a small outpatient clinic focused on one-on-one care.

Your expertise will help facilitate optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive care, effective communication, and adherence to clinical standards. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs, including evaluating physiology, anatomy, and medical history.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and other modalities to support patient rehabilitation.
• Implement treatment interventions for diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, chronic pain, car accidents, workers compensation, orthopedics, neurology, and post-surgical cases.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy exercises, discharge planning, home & community care strategies, and injury prevention techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, or home health environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in discharge planning and working with geriatric patients in various care settings.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems).
• Hands-on experience with outpatient rehabilitation center operations or inpatient hospital services preferred.
• Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy techniques and treatment plan development for diverse conditions such as orthopedics and neurology.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
