We're looking for compassionate, motivated Occupational Therapists who want to help children build the skills they need for everyday life through meaningful, individualized, sensory-informed therapy in the home and community.
This is a flexible contract position for therapists who value autonomy, work-life balance, and the ability to set their own schedule.
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric OT services in clients' homes and communities. Our clients have a range of needs, including sensory processing differences, fine motor and visual-motor delays, motor planning (praxis) challenges, self-care and daily living skills, emotional and self-regulation, feeding concerns, handwriting, and developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder.
The ideal candidate is family-centered, collaborative, creative, and comfortable working independently.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and screenings, including sensory, fine motor, visual-motor, self-care, and adaptive-equipment assessments
- Develop individualized plans of care with measurable, functional goals
- Provide evidence-based, play-based OT services in natural environments
- Address sensory integration, fine and gross motor coordination, motor planning, self-care/ADLs, feeding, handwriting, and regulation as appropriate
- Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications when needed
- Coach families and caregivers on home strategies and carryover
- Complete accurate documentation within 24 hours that meets DDD/AHCCCS requirements
- Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed
- Maintain ethical and professional standards under AOTA guidelines and Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners rules
- Collaborate with speech therapists, families, and DDD Support Coordinators as needed
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Active Arizona OT license in good standing
- NBCOT certification (OTR) preferred
- Valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Professional liability insurance ($1M/$3M)
- Reliable transportation
- Able to complete DDD provider credentialing and orientation
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for helping children and families
Schedule

Work Location
In-home and community-based throughout the West Valley: Avondale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Tolleson, Laveen, Buckeye, Surprise, Waddell Wittmann Arlington and Tonopah.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program; current licensure or certification as required by state or country regulations
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home health, clinics, schools, or early intervention programs
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and evidence-based occupational therapy practices
- Experience working with pediatric populations—particularly children with disabilities or special education needs—and supporting autism spectrum disorders is highly desirable
- Familiarity with developing care plans, conducting occupational therapy assessments, and implementing treatment programs aligned with client goals
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients of all ages and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage medical documentation accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations
