About the Team
You'll join the Global Customer Operations (GCO) team at Workday. GCO brings together the people and processes behind our go-to-market motions — spanning Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and Partners. This team leads mergers and acquisitions integration work across Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support, spanning three pillars: People, Process, and Systems.
About the Role
As the GCO M&A Program Director, you will lead how Workday evaluates, integrates, and scales acquired businesses across our go-to-market functions. You will partner with leaders across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, Partners, Finance, Legal, and Business Technology to guide diligence, integration planning, Day One readiness, and post-close work.
Your work will directly shape how acquired products, customers, teams, and operating models join Workday.
You bring a strategic, analytical, and collaborative approach to M&A, with experience in technology or SaaS environments. You understand go-to-market operations, customer lifecycle processes, revenue synergies, and cross-functional integration. You're comfortable working through ambiguity, advising senior leaders, and turning complex business problems into clear roadmaps.
In this role, you will find opportunities to create value, surface integration risks, define future-state operating models, and lead programs that protect the customer experience while speeding up business outcomes. You will also help build repeatable M&A playbooks and governance models that improve how Workday approaches future transactions.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience, including a consulting background with exposure to how different organizations structure go-to-market and integration approaches.
- Project management or PMO experience leading complex, cross-functional programs.
- Go-to-market operations knowledge across sales, customer success, professional services, and support.
Other Qualifications
- Cross-Team Collaboration: You've partnered closely with sales, customer success, professional services, and support teams to move multi-team initiatives forward together.
- Workday integration experience
- Business Influence: You've shaped decisions and built alignment among senior leaders
- Proactive Thinking: You've anticipated risks and opportunities early, building plans ahead of need rather than reacting after the fact.
- Decision Making: You've made timely, well-reasoned calls on integration priorities, weighing incomplete information and competing needs.
- VISA Sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Relocation support is not available for this role.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex
Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work.
We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).
This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
Workday is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals during our application process, in order to perform one or more essential functions of their job, as well as regarding the use of AI tools for employment decision-making to any degree.
Please see below for more details including how to request an accommodation as a qualified veteran, due to a disability or for religious reasons, or as otherwise provided under applicable law.
Workday prohibits taking adverse action against any candidate or employee for reporting a possible violation of this policy, requesting one or more work accommodations, exercising a privacy right, or cooperating in an investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Any employee who retaliates against a candidate or employee for doing so may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, to the fullest extent allowable under applicable law.
