The Test Operations Technician supports daily PN Test manufacturing operations by managing test heads, monitoring test processes, performing inspections and troubleshooting, maintaining inventory records, and assisting engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support daily PN Test operations to meet production, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Perform test head setup, handling, inspection, and basic troubleshooting according to established procedures.
  • Support test head inventory control, tracking, deployment, and movement to ensure availability for production and engineering activities.
  • Monitor test head condition and escalate abnormalities, damages, or performance concerns to engineers or senior technicians.
  • Support Glide and TDS activities, including specification updates, process monitoring, and rescreen requirements.
  • Monitor test process indicators and report abnormalities in accordance with established reaction plans.
  • Assist in collecting data and supporting product failure investigations and defect analysis activities.
  • Support Test Cell Controller setup and recipe configuration for production and engineering lots.
  • Assist engineers and senior technicians in equipment, process, and test head qualification activities.
  • Support software installation, validation, and updates for testers, robots, and automated test equipment.
  • Perform microscope inspections for defect identification, contamination assessment, and test head condition verification.
  • Maintain accurate records of test head inventory, repair status, asset movements, and operational activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers regarding test head repair and maintenance activities.
  • Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and engineering requirements during daily operations.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas, equipment, and test head storage locations.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, EHS regulations, cleanroom protocols, and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement activities related to test process efficiency, test head utilization, and workplace organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Up to 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements, including PPE usage and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, production support, or test operations.
  • Exposure to automated test equipment, production machinery, or manufacturing systems.
  • Experience using microscopes for visual inspection, defect identification, contamination assessment, or failure investigation.
  • Experience in inventory control, asset tracking, or logistics coordination.
  • Exposure to statistical tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAP, MES, or inventory management systems.
