Environment Lead
About this role
Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.
The short version
Make our office somewhere people love coming to. You'll shape how it looks, how it feels, and what happens when the team comes together. That could mean turning an idea into a team tradition, creating a welcome a new joiner remembers, or finding a beautiful table for shared lunches.
You'll make space for different personalities and ways of working. Some people want a lively lunch; others need a quiet place to focus. Both should feel at home here.
We're looking for warmth, good taste and the initiative to make things happen. You don't need an office management background.
What You'll
Build
- Create the moments people look forward to . Plan team lunches, celebrations, workshops and surprises. Bring your own ideas, try them, and learn what the team actually enjoys.
- Give everyday office culture attention . Introduce people, help new joiners find their feet, notice who's being left out, and create traditions people want to join.
- Shape the space . Find furniture, lighting, plants and the thoughtful details that make the office comfortable and distinctive. Turn ideas into options, compare prices, arrange deliveries, and see the setup through.
- Keep the office running . Stay on top of supplies, couriers, repairs, access and cleaning. Work with building management and suppliers, and check that problems are actually fixed.
- Listen and improve . Ask what makes the office better or harder to use, then act on it. Help the space adapt as the team grows.
The Bar
The office feels cared for, new people settle in quickly, and your ideas become things the team uses and enjoys. The practical details hold up too. Deliveries are handled, costs are tracked, and repairs don't need repeated reminders.
Who You Are
- Creative with good practical judgment. You can spot what would make a room or an event better and work out how to do it within a budget.
- Reliable through the less exciting parts. You'll chase a supplier, track an order and help reset a room after an event.
- Warm and attentive. You enjoy meeting people and helping them feel comfortable.
- Extremely proactive.
- Strong English (company language); Polish a big plus for local suppliers and building management.
- Warsaw-based, on-site - the role is the office
There is no minimum number of years of experience and no requirement to have been an office or operations manager. Show us something you organised, improved or brought to life, and tell us what you personally did.
Nice to have: you've built the office function from scratch before, negotiated a vendor below their first quote, or use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Viktor) to systematize your own work.
How we work
Small team, high trust, low process. Decisions are made by owners, not committees. You will ship your first week.
You will talk to users your first day.
We don't do alignment meetings or stakeholder syncs. We build things, see if they work, and iterate.
Why Viktor
We're one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. The product works. The market is pulling.
This is a rare window: everyone here owns something real. Not a task. A surface of the company that customers depend on.
That doesn't last forever. Right now, it's still true.
Compensation
Top-of-the-market salary and the kind of ownership that only exists at this stage.
The best work happens when you're in the room. Munich, New York, Dublin, and Warsaw. Remote for some roles.
