About UHP
UHP — Unlock Human Potential is building a new category of education centered around whole-human experiential vocational training, leadership development, and purpose-driven transformation. UHP serves veterans, transitioning service members, and purpose-driven individuals through immersive programs that integrate human performance, leadership, wellness, vocational skills, and personal growth.
Our environment is fast-moving, mission-driven, and deeply experiential. We are not a traditional university, gym, military program, or trade school — we are building a scalable human development institution designed for the future workforce.
The Opportunity
UHP is expanding its Integrative Health Coaching program and is seeking multiple professionals to join our instructional team in Northwest Arkansas.
We are hiring across two instructional levels
Lead Instructor (IHC 1) and Assistant Instructor (IHC 3). Each level carries a distinct scope of responsibility and qualification requirements within the program.
The progression is straightforward. IHC 1 leads. IHC 3 assists and develops.
Certification
An active National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) credential is required for the Lead Instructor role. Candidates actively pursuing certification may be considered for Assistant Instructor.
Regardless of level, our instructors play an important role in helping students develop the practical coaching skills, professional judgment, self-awareness, confidence, and presence necessary to positively impact the lives of others.
Our approach is highly experiential. This is not a traditional lecture based teaching environment. Students learn through coaching practice, discussion, reflection, feedback, real world application, and personal development.
Candidates will be considered for the instructor level that best aligns with their credentials, education, coaching experience, instructional background, demonstrated competencies, and program needs.

Our Coaching Philosophy
UHP's NBHWC approved Integrative Health Coaching program is grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own lives while coaches are experts in the process of behavior change.
Our approach emphasizes presence, deep listening, partnership, motivational interviewing, powerful inquiry, and a non-directive coaching style that empowers individuals to uncover their own motivations, strengths, solutions, and path forward.
Our instructors do more than teach these principles. They model them.
Instructors help students understand the distinction between coaching, advising, counseling, and other professional disciplines while developing the judgment, presence, and communication skills necessary to effectively serve future clients.
