Think Zone is looking for a motivated, people-focused Center Manager to lead our Redwood City Learning Center. You'll have the opportunity to run the day-to-day operations of your own center, lead a team of tutors, build relationships with families, and help grow the local Think Zone community.

Think Zone is a growing network of Bay Area learning centers helping K–8 students build stronger math skills, confidence, and independent learning habits.

We combine thoughtfully designed curriculum, technology-driven learning tools, and personalized in-person support to create an engaging learning experience for students and families.

What You'll Do

Lead Your Center

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day experience at the Redwood City location.

• Oversee daily center operations, scheduling, classrooms, and learning resources
• Help recruit, onboard, schedule, and support a team of tutors
• Create an organized, welcoming, and positive environment
• Solve day-to-day challenges and keep the center running smoothly
• Partner with other Center Managers and HQ teams for support

Build Relationships With Students & Families

You'll be one of the main faces of Think Zone for families at your center.

• Build meaningful relationships with students and parents
• Help families understand their child's learning progress
• Create a positive experience from a family's first visit through long-term enrollment
• Work with tutors and families to support student success
• Help create a community families want to stay part of

Help Grow the Center

You'll also have the opportunity to learn the business side of running a learning center.

• Introduce Think Zone programs to prospective families
• Support trial classes and help families find the right program
• Drive enrollment, retention, and referral initiatives
• Build relationships with local schools and community organizations
• Participate in local events, marketing, and community outreach
• Work toward center growth goals while earning enrollment commission and performance bonuses

Who We're Looking For

We're especially interested in candidates who are excited to grow into leadership , even if you haven't formally managed a team before.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Have a bachelor's degree
• Enjoy working with students, families, and teams
• Are confident communicating and building relationships
• Are organized and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• Take initiative and enjoy figuring out solutions
• Want responsibility and ownership rather than a highly structured desk job
• Are interested in developing skills in operations, leadership, customer experience, and business growth
• Can work full-time and in person in Redwood City

Experience in education, tutoring, customer success, operations, hospitality, retail, sales, or team leadership is helpful, but we're open to candidates from different backgrounds who demonstrate strong potential.

Your compensation includes:

• $30/hour base pay + commission based off student enrollment

Schedule & Planned Time Off

This is a full-time, in-person position averaging 35–40 hours per week across 48 working weeks per year .

Four weeks are scheduled off each year:

• July 4th week
• Thanksgiving week
• Christmas week
• New Year's week
