Senior Electrical Technician

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U. S. by building a domestic solar supply chain.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides technical guidance and training to peers regarding equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Evaluates building and equipment conditions to provide leadership with the installation, repair solutions or improvement recommendations. Assist with small O&M or capital improvement projects.

Assist external vendors to ensure compliance with internal policies, OSHA regulations, and federal, state, or local code requirements. Complete or assists in wiring, testing, inspecting, and maintaining environmental or life safety systems to meet federal, state, and local compliance regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 7+ years of directly related experience in Facilities Maintenance, commercial Construction, or commercial/light industrial experiences.
• Expert knowledge of Building Construction, Electrical, Plumbing or Fire systems.
• Knowledge of engineering and design principles.
• Knowledge of environmental & life safety compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local code requirements.
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, single line diagram, technical specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Ability to evaluate building or equipment condition and provide repair solutions or improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to after-hour emergencies when necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of technology such as personal computers, Microsoft applications, and work management systems such as SAP.
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to various manufacturing conditions.
• Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.
• OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Been able to lift up to 75 pounds.
