Job Description – Java Developer
Position: Java Developer Experience: 4–8 Years Location: Chennai Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices , and modern software development practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
- Build and enhance scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development .
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture .
- Experience with REST APIs/Web Services .
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with Maven and version control tools such as Git.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Banking or Financial Services domain is a plus.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
