Job Summary
Synechron seeks a skilled Senior Full stack Developer (. Net & SQL) to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level applications leveraging the Microsoft .
NET framework, SQL for data handling. Your expertise will contribute to delivering robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions aligned with business objectives. This position offers an opportunity to work on impactful projects supporting organizational growth and digital transformation.
Software Requirements
- Very good understanding of Trade Life Cycle
- Development and maintenance experience on Portfolio Management System
- Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets domain
- Experience of Trading Desk support
Required Software Skills:
- Microsoft .NET Framework (minimum version 4.6 or higher) or .NET Core for application development
- SQL Server (2016 or higher) with proficiency in SQL and T-SQL
- Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
- Version control systems (Git)
- Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- REST API development and consumption
Preferred Software Skills:
- Entity Framework or other ORM tools
- Azure cloud services for deployment and hosting
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap
- DevOps automation tools
Overall Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .Net, and SQL Server
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional modules
- Optimize application performance through code tuning, efficient queries, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing applications
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to standards, and implement best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly
- Support deployment activities, including environment setup, configuration, and release management
- Document technical specifications, code, and procedures for future reference
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new technologies and industry practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Essential: C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Preferred: TypeScript
Databases/Data Management:
- SQL Server (2016 or later), proficient in writing complex queries and stored procedures
Front-end Frameworks and Libraries:
- jQuery, Bootstrap (preferred)
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
- Git for version control
- Agile/Scrum development processes
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Security Protocols:
- Implementation of authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT)
- Awareness of secure coding standards and data protection
Cloud Technologies:
- Basic knowledge of Azure cloud services for deployment and hosting (preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in development with .NET technologies, and SQL Server
- Proven track record in developing scalable web applications
- Experience participating in Agile teams and delivering complete project cycles
- Prior experience supporting enterprise applications in dynamic environments
- Experience with cloud deployment or DevOps practices (preferred)
Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop new modules and features using .Net and SQL
- Modify and enhance existing applications based on evolving business needs
- Troubleshoot live issues, optimize performance, and improve application stability
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers in Scrum teams
- Conduct code reviews and participate in technical discussions
- Deploy updates and manage environment configurations
- Maintain technical documentation and user guides
- Monitor system health, perform bug fixes, and support production environments
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and technology skill enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Demonstrable expertise in .NET (C#), and SQL Server
- Certifications related to Microsoft technologies, or web development (preferred)
- Experience in agile methodology and collaboration tools
