Position Overview
Snowflake Inc. is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Manager, Field Marketing - US Majors Financial Services to lead field marketing strategy and execution across our highest-value US Financial Services enterprise accounts (Banking, Asset Management, Capital Markets, and Insurance).
In this dual-impact role, you will balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will directly manage a team of two field marketing individual contributors, driving targeted field marketing programs and executive engagements that accelerate adoption of Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud within the financial services sector.
Success requires strong cross-functional leadership, deep alignment with Enterprise Sales leadership, and a data-driven approach to pipeline creation, account expansion, and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Account Planning: Own and execute the end-to-end field marketing strategy for the US Majors Financial Services vertical, tailoring programs to address strict industry regulations, modernization trends, and enterprise buying cycles.
- Team Leadership & Execution: Lead, mentor, and empower a team of two individual contributors. Drive operational excellence while staying hands-on in the design, planning, and execution of high-impact field initiatives.
- Integrated Field Programs: Architect 1:1 and 1:Many campaigns, executive roundtables, customized roadshows, partner co-marketing initiatives, and high-touch customer experiences designed to penetrate and expand major financial accounts.
- Sales & Partner Alignment: Partner closely with US Majors Financial Services Sales leadership, Account Executives, SDR teams, and Ecosystem Partners to align marketing strategy with territory goals, key target accounts, and revenue targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Product Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Growth Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Industry Solutions teams to deliver domain-specific messaging and tailored collateral to top financial institutions.
- Performance & Analytics: Track, measure, and optimize program performance against critical metrics, including account engagement, opportunity acceleration, pipeline impact, and overall campaign ROI.
- Talent Development: Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment through clear career development pathways, continuous feedback, and active coaching.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of B2B field marketing experience in enterprise software/SaaS, with proven experience supporting high-value accounts (Financial Services/FinTech experience strongly preferred).
- Leadership: 2+ years of direct people management experience with a track record of coaching and developing individual contributors.
- Strategic Execution: Proven ability to balance macro-level strategy with micro-level execution, willing to lead by example and directly roll up sleeves on major initiatives.
- Sales Partnership: Strong executive presence with a demonstrated track record of building trusted partnerships with Enterprise Sales leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Hands-on experience analyzing campaign performance, tracking pipeline attribution, and managing field marketing budgets.
- Marketing Tech Stack: Familiarity with enterprise CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase/6sense).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Work Arrangement: Ability to adhere to a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days per week in office).
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
