Position Summary
The Clinical Technician (TMS) plays a key role in delivering advanced interventional treatments for psychiatric and neurological conditions at Salma Health. This position primarily supports Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments, with opportunities to assist in Esketamine (Spravato) administration, EEG procedures, and cognitive testing.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on clinical experience in interventional psychiatry and neuroscience, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, compassionate care.

Shift 1: 7:30AM - 4:30PM
Shift 2: 8:30AM - 5:30PM
Key Responsibilities
TMS Treatment Delivery (Primary)
- Administer conventional and SAINT TMS protocols in accordance with clinical and safety standards.
- Monitor and document patient responses in the EHR.
- Prepare treatment rooms, calibrate equipment, and ensure patient readiness for each session.
- Communicate effectively with providers, escalating concerns as needed.
Esketamine (Spravato) Support
- Assist with setup, observation, and documentation during Esketamine treatments.
- Support patient monitoring and safety throughout recovery.
Administrative & Patient
Support
- Welcome patients and serve as the first point of contact at the clinic, providing a warm, professional, and compassionate experience.
- Manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and follow-up coordination while responding to incoming phone calls and email inquiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate patient documentation and data entry in the EHR.
- Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic and maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-organized waiting area.
- Serve as the primary point person for daily operational activities, facilities, and clinic readiness.
- Partner with Clinical Operations leadership to implement new workflows, EHR processes, and policy updates.
- Coordinate with Care Coordination, central support, and billing teams for scheduling, billing coordination, and prior authorizations.
- Monitor clinical and administrative supply levels, submit replenishment orders, and manage inventory.
- Support onboarding, training, and scheduling of new front desk or clinical staff to ensure consistent quality and regulatory compliance.
- Track and report key operational metrics (e.g., patient volume, cancellations, turnaround times) and escalate operational issues (facilities, IT, patient concerns) to leadership.
- Maintain flexibility to provide occasional coverage outside regular working hours to accommodate unique clinical situations, protocol requirements, or patient needs.
- Early-morning or late-evening TMS treatment coverage, no more than once per month.
- Weekend or company-observed holiday TMS treatment coverage, no more than once per every three months.
- All such coverage will be scheduled with reasonable advance notice whenever practicable and compensated in accordance with applicable overtime laws and company policy.
Interdisciplinary & Research Collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and research teams to ensure quality and compliance.
- Participate in data collection and other clinical research activities as directed.
- Coordinate with external providers for patient referrals and continuity of care.
- Support site-specific research data collection and clinical research patient outreach.
- Support daily clinical operations to ensure efficient clinic workflow and resource management.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity and generating reports for clinical performance and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent healthcare experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to provide empathetic patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to balance direct patient care duties with front desk and administrative site oversight.
- Capacity to learn quickly, follow detailed clinical protocols, and adapt to dynamic care environments.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and comfort utilizing technology-enabled workflows.
- Professionalism, reliability, and composure under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with TMS, Esketamine, or behavioral health settings.
- MA, EMT, LVN, or BA in Psychology or Health Sciences preferred.
- Experience supporting patients in clinical or research environments.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position includes:
- Hourly Rate: $20 - $22 per hour; based on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and additional benefits.
