Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Field Marketing to lead our EMEA South organization. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving the marketing strategy across a complex, diverse and high-growth region.

The VP will serve as a strategic partner to EMEA South GTM leadership, translating business priorities and growth opportunities into a focused marketing strategy that drives pipeline, revenue and customer engagement. This leader will inherit a strong team with significant execution capability; the opportunity is to provide the strategic direction, prioritization and leadership required to maximize its impact.

Success requires someone who can operate at both the executive and regional level and who understanding the broader company strategy while recognizing that markets across EMEA South have different levels of maturity, customer dynamics, growth opportunities and go-to-market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall Field Marketing strategy for EMEA South, aligning marketing priorities and investments to the region's growth objectives and business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior Sales and cross-functional leadership, bringing a strong Marketing point of view to regional business planning and decision-making.
  • Translate company-wide priorities, campaigns and sales plays into locally relevant strategies that reflect the unique needs of individual markets, industries and customer segments.
  • Use pipeline, revenue, customer and market insights to identify opportunities, diagnose performance gaps and determine where Marketing can have the greatest impact.
  • Establish clear priorities for the organization, balancing near-term pipeline requirements with longer-term market development and customer growth.
  • Lead investment and resource allocation across a complex portfolio of countries, segments and programs, making deliberate tradeoffs based on business opportunity and expected return.
  • Build an integrated regional marketing strategy across field programs, campaigns, events, executive engagement, demand generation, account-based motions and other customer experiences.
  • Partner closely with global and regional Marketing teams to leverage scaled programs while ensuring the appropriate level of localization for EMEA South.
  • Establish clear measures of success and drive accountability for pipeline, revenue and broader business outcomes.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing organization, creating clarity and empowering strong leaders and teams to execute.
  • Represent EMEA South within the broader global Field Marketing organization, ensuring regional insights and customer needs inform global strategy and investment decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant senior leadership experience in B2B enterprise marketing, ideally within a large, global technology or SaaS organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategy across a complex, multi-country or multi-market region, with the ability to navigate different levels of market maturity, growth expectations and go-to-market models.
  • Proven ability to develop a regional marketing strategy from business objectives rather than simply execute against an established global marketing plan.
  • Strong commercial acumen and fluency in pipeline, revenue, growth, coverage, customer acquisition and marketing ROI.
  • Track record of partnering with senior Sales leaders and operating credibly as part of an executive go-to-market leadership team.
  • Ability to synthesize significant complexity into a small number of clear priorities and mobilize an organization around them.
  • Strong judgment around investment and resource allocation, including the ability to make difficult tradeoffs and challenge legacy approaches when business priorities change.
  • Experience balancing global scale with local relevance and a strong appreciation for the importance of localization across diverse markets.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence across highly matrixed organizations and build alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, Strategy and other functions.
  • Experience leading and developing senior, high-performing marketing teams; comfortable empowering strong operators rather than managing execution personally.
  • Executive presence, strong communication skills and the ability to constructively challenge senior stakeholders while building trusted relationships.
  • Data-driven and outcomes-oriented, with a track record of connecting marketing strategy and investment to measurable business impact.

Leadership Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic, commercially minded leader who happens to be a marketer. They are equally comfortable discussing regional growth strategy with a Sales leader, interrogating pipeline performance, making investment tradeoffs and coaching a leadership team.

They bring clarity to complexity. They know how to distinguish between activity and impact, have the confidence to make choices about what not to do, and can create a clear strategic framework that enables a capable team to move quickly.

Most importantly, this leader will elevate an already strong execution organization by providing the strategy, prioritization, executive partnership and leadership needed to drive the next level of growth across EMEA South.
