Summer 2027 Intern - MBA Business Value & Strategic Selling Consultant (Financial Services)

Role Description

The Business Value Services (BVS) team at Salesforce partners with Financial Services sales and solution engineering teams on strategic customer engagements. Based in New York, New York, this role provides quantifiable insights into how Salesforce solutions, including AI, drive business and financial outcomes for banks, insurers, and wealth managers, including client onboarding, servicing, and advisor workflows.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate internal and external discovery around customer business roles and processes across companies and industries, including areas where AI can make a difference
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to identify, prioritize, and quantify the key performance indicators that show how Salesforce solutions address business goals
• Size financial services AI use cases, such as agents that handle routine service requests, and model their effect on cost to serve and revenue
• Build risk and compliance considerations into AI business cases, including model risk management, explainability, data privacy, and required human review

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program with an expected graduation of Spring 2028.
• 5 or more years of experience in value consulting, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role prior to pursuing an MBA
• Experience building and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
• Experience structuring complex problems and translating findings into actionable recommendations
• Experience using generative AI tools for research, drafting, or analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in or with financial services organizations
• Experience with model governance, model validation, or AI risk teams at a financial institution
• Experience scoping an AI use case or measuring results after launch
