About the position
We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join the team and lead on this critical mission. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading product management in security and/or enterprise services and strong technical knowledge to work with security architects to help define the best overall solution.
They should know how to put the customer and user at the center of their work, translating business and user requests into requirements and solutions. They are data-driven, ensuring we are strategically working toward the right outcomes but have a strong bias for action. This position will drive automation and agentic optimizations as well as strategic M&A integration into Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Vision, Strategy, & Roadmap - You help set strategic vision with executive management and the roadmaps needed to get there.
- Customers, Partners, and Collaborators - You will engage with customers, partners, and internal collaborators to resolve business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic goals.
- Planning, Delivery, and Execution - Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering and operations peers to deliver both strategic and tactical plans and objectives. You are hands-on and involved in getting results delivered.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and make build vs buy recommendations.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Represent your area as a subject matter expert with our internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on product performance and progress to senior leadership.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree desirable.
- 8+ years of experience in technical product management or a related role.
- Deep expertise in various cybersecurity domains, especially endpoint security, but ideally including network security, cloud security, Identity, and data protection.
- Proven ability to define and deliver successful product strategies and roadmaps.
- Demonstrated experience in defining technical product requirements into an actionable product roadmap. Experience working and delivering product or services in an agile/lean environment.
- Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders in a matrix environment.
