Your Mission
As a Tableau Account Executive, you are the go-to expert for Tableau across your dedicated UKI customer set. You'll own the full sales cycle for Tableau opportunities — from prospecting through close — using your solution selling expertise and deep product knowledge to respond efficiently to customer needs, identify Tableau-specific business potential, and build a strategic, long-term partnership with your customers.
Responsibilities
- Specialist Sales Leadership: Serve as the subject-matter expert for Tableau, partnering with core Account Executives across a dedicated customer set in the UKI market to drive specialist-led opportunities, across a complex SMB territory spanning new logo and expansion business.
- Strategic Growth: Drive performance against key metrics with a primary focus on pipeline generation, deal acceleration, and expansion of Tableau within existing and net-new accounts.
- Solution Selling: Bring deep expertise in Tableau to uncover business challenges and align tailored solutions to customer goals through a consultative approach.
- Relationship Building: Develop trusted relationships with business and technical decision-makers through regular digital engagement, demos, and face-to-face meetings, independently identifying decision-makers and influencers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with core AEs, Pre-sales, Business Development, Marketing and other teams to shape deal strategy, optimize the sales funnel, structure and close specialist deals, bringing in SEs and cross-functional resources as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Full-Cycle Sales: Proven track record of quota-carrying, tech/SaaS sales experience managing the sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- Territory & Account Planning: Create territory & account plans to identify, qualify, and successfully close specialist-led opportunities.
- Research & Discovery: Uncover prospect's business challenges, processes, and strategic goals.
- Solutioning: Craft value propositions that map to customer needs, demonstrating deep understanding of specialized technology solutions.
- Communication: Clear, effective and timely engagement across writing, speech, presentation, and tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Slides).
- Resourcefulness: Drive results using all tools and resources available.
- Team Selling: Align with core AEs, Pre-sales, and partners to support deals and customer success.
- Mindset: Coachable, competitive, and motivated by ambitious goals.
- Language: Fluent in English.

- Methodology: Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Value Selling.
- Strategic Alliances: Ability to develop cases and lead strategic partnerships.
- Adaptability: Thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Track Record: Consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
