We enable our SEs to scale, innovate, and provide the best product demonstrations of their careers.

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to execute the technical strategy for our Energy sector. In this critical role, you will bridge business requirements and platform execution by managing the delivery of high-impact technical initiatives.

You will be responsible for translating market requirements into prioritized backlogs, mapping demo assets to industry use cases, and ensuring that our demo environments are robust, secure, and built on the latest Salesforce architecture.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Roadmap (Trusted Partner)
  • Align demo initiatives with product and industry roadmaps, flagging misalignments early and communicating shifts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across Product, Solutions, and Demo Tech, leveraging collaboration to resolve misalignment and maintain delivery.
  • Identify risks or conflicts early and escalate with clear context, ensuring issues are addressed quickly to protect outcomes.
  • Project/Program Management (Business Owner)
  • Prioritize backlog items to align with team goals, keep the backlog well-groomed and transparent, and define clear acceptance criteria.
  • Re-prioritize work in response to changing needs, maintain pace amid scope shifts, and use ceremonies to realign the team.
  • Suggest actionable process improvements, encourage experimentation with new practices, and track outcomes of changes.
  • Communication & Collaboration (Translator & Collaborator)
  • Translate technical details into business value for stakeholders, bridging gaps between developers, PMs, and SEs to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Conduct structured discussions to extract detailed requirements, distinguishing needs from nice-to-haves and converting them into backlog-ready items.
  • Facilitate discussions to resolve competing priorities, encouraging balanced input while maintaining focus on shared outcomes.
  • In-depth Industry & Product Knowledge (Team Seller)
  • Apply Salesforce capabilities to address industry-specific scenarios, explaining how features connect to customer processes and staying current with new releases.
  • Maintain industry demo environments reliably, troubleshooting common issues independently and sharing updates on readiness.
  • Map demo assets to industry and customer problems, identifying opportunities for reuse and documenting solution coverage clearly.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience, with a strong background in Product Ownership, Solution Engineering, or Product Management.

  • Experience: Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives, or previous experience as a Solution Engineer (SE), Technical Business Analyst, or in a pre-sales environment.
  • Cloud Expertise: Specific experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud.
