About this role

SENIOR SALESFORCE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT – CORE (SALES & SERVICE CLOUD)

Location: Mexico City (CDMX), Mexico

ROLE OVERVIEW The Senior Technical Consultant – Core (Sales & Service Cloud) is a hands-on execution role within the Strategic Migration CoE / Migration Factory. The role supports end-to-end migrations and implementations from legacy CRM platforms (e.g., Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics, legacy or custom CRMs, other Salesforce orgs) to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

Unlike the Technical Architect (who owns solution strategy and design), this role focuses on detailed technical implementation: platform configuration, declarative and programmatic development, data migration, integrations, and quality validation. You will work under the architect's guidance and in direct contact with client teams, and you will mentor junior consultants and set technical quality standards on the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure and build Sales Cloud and Service Cloud components: Lead/Opportunity management, Accounts and Contacts, Products/Price Books/Quotes, Forecasting, Cases, Omni-Channel, Entitlements/Milestones, Knowledge, Service Console, and Email-to-Case/Web-to-Case.
  • Build declarative automation (Flow, Process Builder migration, validation rules, approval processes) and customizations with Apex, SOQL, and LWC, following best practices and governance limits.
  • Execute technical data migration (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Cases, attachments, history) per the architect's blueprint, using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and/or ETL tools.
  • Configure security and access models: profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Design and configure integrations with external systems (ERP, telephony/CTI, marketing platforms) via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and MuleSoft.
  • Build and execute test plans (unit, integration, UAT support) and data validations ahead of cutover and go-live.
  • Perform code reviews, and mentor and guide junior consultants on best practices.
  • Document configurations, code, and technical decisions for Migration Factory playbooks and accelerators.
  • Participate in discovery workshops and client validation sessions, proactively identifying and escalating technical risks to the architect.

MUST-HAVE

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud (Lead-to-Opportunity, Case management, Service Console, Omni-Channel).
  • Solid knowledge of Flow and declarative automation.
  • Advanced Apex, SOQL, and LWC (or Aura).
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, the security model, and data migration best practices for large volumes.
  • Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP) and/or middleware.
  • Experience with CRM migration or implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (Git, SFDX, CI/CD, sandboxes, and deployment strategies).

PREFERRED

  • Prior experience migrating from Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP CRM, Oracle, or other legacy CRMs.
  • Exposure to CPQ, Experience Cloud, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce / Einstein capabilities.
  • ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory).
  • Experience with telephony/CTI integrations (e.g., Service Cloud Voice).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • 3+ years working directly in Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud (ideally including at least 1 migration or full implementation project).
  • Experience collaborating on client-facing teams under the direction of an architect or technical lead.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other consultants.

CERTIFICATIONS

Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant.

Preferred
