  • Partner directly with business stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, Treasury) to understand system pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of Core ERP systems (Workday Financials, Vertex etc), meeting defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs.
  • Own the end-to-end resolution of high-priority incidents affecting financial systems. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring failures.
  • Hands on ownership of Level 2/Level 3 support issues and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for system bugs & enhancements.
  • Audit & Compliance: Ensure financial systems adhere to internal controls, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance, data privacy regulations, and statutory financial reporting standards.
  • Access Control & Security: Monitor user access governance, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Segregation of Duties (SoD) to mitigate fraud and security vulnerabilities.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR): Regularly test and update business continuity and disaster recovery plans for mission-critical financial databases and applications.
