About the Role

Join Salesforce’s Social & Influence Marketing team to lead our influencer and industry voice ecosystem, grow our employee advocacy program, and help bring major Product Launches to life across social.

This is a dual-track role for someone who is equally comfortable building influencer relationships and shaping social content around a launch moment. You’ll own key programs end-to-end, co-lead Product Launch execution with our Content Strategy & Creative Lead, and bring the cross-functional teams required to deliver the work together.

You’re also deeply plugged into culture — someone who understands the conversations, creators, formats, and behaviors shaping social in real time, and can turn that fluency into relevant content and influencer opportunities for Salesforce.

What You'll

Own

  • Influencers (AI Creators & Builders): Lead the program end to end, including relationships, engagement cadence, and a tiered approach to activating creators and builders.
  • Industry Voices: Build and manage relationships with influential voices across the industry, identifying opportunities to engage them around Salesforce priorities and moments.
  • Employee Advocacy: Own the program end-to-end, establishing a consistent editorial rhythm and activating employee ambassadors around priority stories and moments.
  • Product Launches: Co-lead social execution for major launches, spanning influencer coordination and social content production, with increasing independent ownership of launches over time.
  • Channel Strategy: Own the strategy and presence for Instagram and TikTok, shaping how Salesforce shows up across both channels.
  • Trend-spotting: Contribute to team-wide trend monitoring and identify emerging conversations, creators, formats, and behaviors that Salesforce can credibly participate in.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Connect the Influencer Center of Excellence and the Slack Social & Influence team, creating alignment around priorities, opportunities, and execution.
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving when influencer, creative, measurement, and operational priorities compete within a launch.
  • Keep stakeholders aligned on decisions, dependencies, and trade-offs, and drive issues to resolution when perspectives diverge.

How You'll

Work With the Team

  • Partner closely with the Content Strategy & Creative Lead to shape and execute product launches, build towards independent launch leadership over time.
  • Bring insights from influencers, creators, and industry voices back into the team — helping inform how we think about audiences, narratives, content, and cultural opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Social Strategy & Operations Lead, using measurement, performance insights, and competitive intelligence to inform the work and understand its impact.

What Success Looks Like

  • Slack has a well-run influencer and industry voice ecosystem with clear relationship tiers, engagement strategies, and a predictable activation cadence.
  • Employee advocacy operates with a consistent editorial rhythm and an engaged network of employee ambassadors.
  • Instagram and TikTok have clear strategies and increasingly distinctive roles within Salesforce’s broader social presence.
  • Product Launches are delivered on time and on budget, with strong alignment across influencer, content, measurement, and operations.
  • You take full accountability for the work you own and progressively lead larger, more complex launch moments independently.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, content strategy, or related fields, with demonstrated ownership of campaigns or programs from strategy through execution.
  • Experience managing influencer or creator relationships end-to-end, including sourcing, negotiation, briefing, activation, and measurement.
  • Hands-on experience developing and shipping social content, including copywriting, editorial planning, content calendars, and campaign execution.
  • Experience supporting major Product Launches, campaigns, or culturally relevant moments across social.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience aligning creative, influencer, analytics, and operations partners around shared outcomes.
  • A track record of developing clear product or solution narratives, ideally informed by customer, creator, or external audience insights.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok, including platform behaviors, formats, creator ecosystems, and emerging trends.
  • Experience managing project budgets and timelines and making sound decisions within moderate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, navigate competing priorities, and clearly articulate decisions and trade-offs.
  • Experience with employee advocacy programs and tiered influencer engagement models is a plus.
