Legal Operations Analyst

Role Purpose

As a Legal Operations Analyst supporting our Japan and global operations, you will execute essential partner due diligence, monitoring, and operational alignment across regional and global initiatives.

Working with managerial guidance, you will manage local review workflows, support broader global reviews, and partner closely with regional stakeholders—specifically the Japan Alliance team—to help transition local processes toward unified global due diligence standards.

Core Responsibilities

1. Regional & Global Review Management

・Japan Due Diligence: Manage day-to-day Japanese legal compliance reviews, ensuring accurate analysis and timely completion.

・Global Review Support: Provide analytical and tactical support for global due diligence reviews across jurisdictions.

・Frontline Analysis: Support ongoing efforts to streamline initial review phases, leveraging automation opportunities or partner team inputs where applicable.

Partner Monitoring & Programmatic

Support

・Subreseller Programmatic Work: Execute operational and diligence tasks to support Japan subreseller programmatic initiatives.

・Ongoing Monitoring Alerts: Review and evaluate ongoing risk and compliance monitoring alerts for existing partners, escalating risks when necessary.

・Risk Identification: Maintain high attention to detail when tracking partner activity to spot emerging compliance or operational concerns early.

3. Alliance Collaboration & Process Transition

・Japan Alliance Partnership: Serve as a key operational liaison to the Japan Alliance team on joint matters and collaborative projects.

・Process Migration: Guide and execute the transition of local Japan review processes into standardized global due diligence frameworks.

・Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and help implement repeatable, documented processes to enhance scale and consistency.

The Ideal Profile

・Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, or a research-intensive analyst role.

・Regional Context: Familiarity with Japanese business practices and legal operations, alongside a willingness to learn; also being able to work on a team not locally based

・Collaborative Communicator: Ability to build strong relationships across teams (e. g. , Japan business teams, global legal operations, partner operations, etc.)

Detail-Oriented & Methodical: Strong research and analytical capabilities with a preference for turning ad-hoc requests into structured, repeatable processes.

・Adaptable Problem Solver: Comfortable operating with managerial guidance while taking proactive ownership of day-to-day monitoring and review tasks.
