About this role

Who We Are

Trailblazer Relations APAC is a team of creative, highly technical advocates, community builders, and program leaders. We inspire, enable, engage, and support the ever-growing Trailblazer community across Asia Pacific. We help Trailblazers succeed on the Salesforce Platform and use cutting-edge technologies like AIforce, Agentforce and Data Cloud.

Our work goes well beyond developer advocacy. We grow and support Trailblazer Community Groups, MVPs, and Group Leaders. We run community events and executive engagements.

We also partner with customers, partners, and local ecosystems across the region. For developers, we write blog posts , produce video content, host workshops , and engage in person and virtually at Salesforce and third-party events.

We work closely with Trailblazer Community, Architect Evangelists, marketing, product management, engineering, and product marketing. We are the "voice of the Trailblazer" in APAC, bringing regional perspectives into the company to shape the Salesforce experience, especially around AI and data.

Who You Are

You're a seasoned technologist who thinks in systems. You know which tool and which feature fits the problem. That means choosing between probabilistic AI and deterministic code, and between visual builders and building from scratch.

You're equally comfortable with front-end and back-end languages and APIs, and you're eager to explore new paradigms in AI-driven development.

You're curious about the full Salesforce portfolio, including platforms like MuleSoft and Heroku, and you enjoy connecting them to solve real problems. You show the "art of the possible" with prototypes that span multiple products.

You can shift between audiences, from students and new developers in emerging markets to senior architects and CTOs in mature ones. You're a lighthouse in the community, comfortable on camera and on stage in front of audiences of hundreds or thousands. You're ready to travel across APAC to meet them.

You Are Excited About This Role Because You Will:

  • Design technical content, reference apps, and demos that span AIforce, Agentforce, Data Cloud, and the wider Salesforce platform built for reuse across events and year-long regional programs.
  • Collaborate with Architect Evangelists to incorporate architect content into the programs, campaigns and hands-on activities in the region.
  • Contextualize global advocacy campaigns for APAC. For example, adapt one global message into narratives that work for a student-heavy market like India and an enterprise-heavy one like ANZ.
  • Own the technical workstreams for flagship events such as World Tours, TDX, and Dreamforce. Design high-scale engagement models for 1000+ audiences, using gamification and interactive coding.
  • Own content strategy and assets for programs such as Journey to Salesforce (J2S)
  • Delegate component building while personally owning final testing and quality assurance.
  • Identify gaps between product, market, and developer needs. Take real-world friction back to product and engineering as the "voice of the Trailblazer."
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions, so Trailblazer and developer needs are prioritized in marketing motions.
  • Coach non-technical team members, community leaders, and external presenters to deliver technical content at scale.
  • Work with Community Group Leaders and MVPs to help them grow and succeed.

We're Excited About You, Because You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience implementing on the Salesforce Platform, with architect-level design skills.
  • Recognized cross-product expertise, with a proven ability to build prototypes that connect multiple Salesforce products. Certifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proven expertise in web applications, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apex, and APIs, plus hands-on curiosity about AIforce, Agentforce and Data Cloud.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, and experience making complex concepts accessible.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across regional stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others, and a track record of raising the bar on code and content quality.
  • An understanding of how quickly the ways people consume content and share experiences are shifting.
  • A strategic mind and strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You work well solo and as a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
