Investigations Analyst, Global Safety & Security

The Experience

Location: San Francisco, CA

The Investigations Analyst is part of our Global Safety & Security (GS&S) Corporate Investigations team.

GS&S Investigations partners with Investigations Leadership, Employee Success, Employee Relations, Legal, and Global Ethics & Integrity to support fact-finding research across a broad range of internal case types, working cross-functionally to gather intelligence, and deliver thorough, objective findings that protect Salesforce's people, assets, and integrity.

We are looking for an Investigations Analyst to support a caseload of internal investigations end to end. In this role, you will conduct fact-finding on sensitive matters, document your findings clearly, and partner closely with the Director of Investigations to reduce risk and reinforce trust.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Supports internal investigations from intake through closure — researching matters such as expense policy violations, theft, Code of Conduct violations, and other referred misconduct — following established investigative procedures.
• Document findings in formal investigation summaries, capturing timelines, evidence, and supporting research for each case.
• Partner with Employee Relations, Employee Success, Legal, and other business units on case intake and research.
• Track and manage caseload in the case management system, ensuring accurate classification and timely resolution.
• Identify and analyze trends across cases and contribute to risk reduction and awareness efforts.
• Create reporting and manage dashboard metrics for delivery to leadership and business partners.

You're Our Person If...

• You have 2+ years of analyst experience in corporate investigations, employee relations, security, law enforcement, or a related field.
• You have strong written communication skills and can produce clear, factual, well-organized investigative summaries.
• You exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
• You can manage a caseload independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• You collaborate effectively with Legal, Employee Relations, Employee Success, and other partners across the business.
• You are able to handle urgent requests and toggle from tactical to strategic initiatives at short notice.

Even Better If...

• You have experience with case management tools.
• You're familiar with workplace investigations, expense policy, or insider threat concepts.
• You have experience conducting open-source research as part of an investigation.
• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred, not required).
