Overview of the Role
Our Global Center of Excellence Deal Strategy team provides deal pricing support for our CRM product lines and risk review across geographies, verticals, and business segments. We help our businesses hit their short-term targets while protecting the company's long-term revenue streams and profitability.
We're looking for a Deal Desk Analyst to join our team in Mexico City. This person will handle quote and pricing approvals, spot risk in commercial terms, and help scale our Deal Desk function.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess deal pricing requests based on quantitative and qualitative criteria
- Handle daily quote approvals, non-standard deal requirements, and deal review cycles
- Review and validate pricing/discount terms against what Deal Desk authorized
- Spot risk or anomalies in complex commercial terms and escalate to the accountable teams
- Manage timely communication with sales reps and managers, adhering to compliance
- Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, and Revenue Recognition to optimize contract terms and close deals
- Help develop and refine best practices around deal review, approval, and related processes
- Document findings, risk, and key financial information, and render a recommendation for deal approval
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2-3 years in Deal Desk, Pricing Operations, or commercial-selling support functions
- Solid grasp of SaaS/cloud subscription models and contract terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail; comfortable making decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain concepts across levels
- Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, listening); Spanish/Portuguese a plus
