AI Builder Intern [Brazil]
About this role
Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.
Salesforce is hiring AI Builder Interns: students who are early in their journey but not early in their ambition. As part of our first-of-its-kind AI Builder intern cohort, you'll sit alongside customer-facing teams and help design, build, and test Agentic solutions for the world's Fortune 500.
We are at the beginning of the agentic era. Nobody has ten years of experience here, which means your curiosity and your ideas count from week one. You'll work in a builder pod: a cross-functional team that designs, builds, and ships AI solutions together so you're never figuring it out alone.
Honestly, you're already thinking about what you'd build here…
The AI Builder Intern Experience
AI-powered development. You'll learn on the same best-in-class tools our teams use every day — including Cursor, Claude, and our own coding products like Vibes — with guidance on how to use them well.
Dedicated mentorship. You'll be paired with an onboarding buddy, shadow senior developers, and join a program built around hands-on skill development and real networking.
Skill acceleration. The internship is designed to grow two things at once: how you build, and how you communicate. You'll get coaching on presenting your work, running a conversation with stakeholders, and handling feedback.
Real work, real feedback. You'll contribute to live projects, present what you've built, and leave with something you can point to: impacting real customers.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Build alongside the pod. Contribute to AI agents that take real actions for real companies. Agentforce is live and in production — this is not a side project.
- Explore how agents think. Get hands-on with prompts, reasoning, and tool calls on the Agentforce platform, with a mentor walking you through the architecture.
- Test, break, and improve. Try things, find where they fall over, and help fix them. Curiosity matters more than getting it right the first time.
- Translate problems into ideas. Listen to a business challenge, ask good questions, and help shape it into something an agent could solve.
- Share your work. Write up what you did, demo it to the pod, and explain your thinking to people who weren't in the room.
You're Our Person If…
- You're pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with graduation date between December/2027 and June/2028.
- You're curious about AI and have played with LLMs or prompting on your own, even informally. Deep expertise is not expected; genuine interest is.
- You have built and debugged real projects (personal, academic, or professional) in at least one programming language, understand basic software design concepts, and are comfortable working with APIs and reading technical docs to learn new tools fast.
- You communicate clearly. You can explain an idea simply, in writing and out loud, to people who don't share your background.
- You ask questions. You'd rather ask early than stay stuck quietly, and you're comfortable saying "I don't know yet."
- You take feedback well. You treat a code review or a redirect as useful information, not a verdict.
- You collaborate. You're the person in the group chat actually building something, not just talking about it — and you make your teammates better.
- You take initiative. You notice what needs doing and start, without waiting to be assigned, curious.
- You're resilient and adaptable. Priorities shift, things break, requirements change. You stay steady and keep moving.
- You care about the customer. You want to understand the person on the other side of the problem, not just the code.
- You're comfortable working in a multicultural environment — communicating in Portuguese , and open to collaborating with colleagues who speak Spanish and English as well.
