What You Will Do
- Plan, organize and direct the facility’s product value streams to meet and exceed customer expectations in Quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Implement LEAN production systems and processes that align with the Manufacturing Facility’s vision and objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory airworthiness and EH&S requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments on matters such as customer requirements and material support to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop and achieve on-time delivery.
- Meet key performance metrics, including EH&S, Quality, Financial, Productivity, Cost and Delivery commitments.
- Establish and execute production budgets, cost-control management, labor efficiency, manpower deployment and productivity measurement, equipment capacity utilization and investment, and inventory cost plans.
- Coach, counsel and appraise staff performance, manage disciplinary matters, identify workforce needs and develop talent.
- Build employees’ capabilities through technical-skills competency training and experience-based learning.
- Lead the site’s Lean Transformation journey, drive the CORE culture and support automation initiatives.
- Collaborate on all Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to implement new product introductions.
- Drive behaviors through continuous improvement to strengthen a sustainable culture of Customer Satisfaction, EH&S, Quality, Employee Engagement and Learning.
Qualifications
You Must Have
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- People-management experience leading an Operations team of more than 120 employees, including Cell Leaders and Manufacturing Technicians.
- Strong engineering and technical capabilities.
- Demonstrated success working in a high-energy, fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proactive team player with strong leadership qualities, drive and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Forward-thinking and capable of ensuring that the entire unit remains customer-focused and responsive to the demands of a challenging manufacturing environment.

- Experience leading Lean Transformation and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Experience driving the CORE culture within a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Experience supporting or implementing new product introductions.
- Strong experience in production budgeting, cost control, labor productivity and capacity planning.
