- Pratt & Whitney Compression Systems is looking for a Senior Integrated Product Team Leader (Sr.
- IPTL) who will be responsible for the High-Pressure Compressor (HPC) Statics of the F135-Engine Core Upgrade (ECU).
- This hardware includes Cases, Static Stators, and Variable Vanes & Kinematics.
- The Sr.
- IPT Lead will be critical to the success of the ECU HPC CIPT as the program advances through development - ensuring the delivery of critical validation hardware, instrumentation, assembly, and test planning.

- IPT Lead will work alongside the static hardware IPT Leads to own the engineering activities of the IPTs, and ensure the overall health of the teams.
- The Sr.
- IPT leader will serve as a member of the Central Integrated Product Team (CIPT), working with a cross-disciplinary team of stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the HPC Module meet programmatic requirements.
- As an extension of the CIPT, the Sr.
- IPTL is empowered with decision making authority to provide strategic leadership to the Static IPTs throughout all phases of design, procurement, production, assembly, and validation.
- The Sr IPTL will serve as an expert on the ECU HPC Static Hardware, and will represent the IPT at the associated Part Family Councils.
- Finally, the Sr IPTL will represent the CIPT and IPT in forums with Engineering Leadership, the Systems Integrated Product Team (SIPT), Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT), and Government Customer.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute large scale engineering plans – overseeing team progress, managing risks, and taking proactive steps to ensure team success
- Provide strategic leadership to the Static Hardware IPTs, ensuring the team is on track for key milestones that are 6+ months away
- Represent the team, providing upwards-facing communication to leadership within P&W Engineering, and externally to the Government customer.
- Integrate the ECU static hardware into the HPC module and engine – promoting compromise and a framework for all requirements to be met
- Interface with the CIPT, SIPT, IPMT, and Compression Systems Engineering Leadership to ensure each the needs of each organization are met
- Account for learning across the P&W portfolio, serving as the ECU representative on the Part Family Council
- Work with managers and the CIPT to deploy staffing and mentoring plans that ensure team health and development

Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

- An Advanced Degree in Engineering and/or an MBA and minimum 10 years’ experience is preferred
- Experience as an IPT Leader or similar position is preferred
- Demonstrated strong team leadership and strategic leadership skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and risk management skills
- Highly motivated, able to work across organizational boundaries and have demonstrated exceptional customer focus

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
