Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do
- Learn about planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Participates in product development activities, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.
- Support product development activities including implementation of standard specifications, and development of performance requirements.
- Collaborate with professional employees to perform activities across several disciplines.
Qualifications
You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Demonstrated experience leveraging strong communication, teaming and results oriented skills.
- Prior experience communicating across teams and platforms to successfully collaborate on projects/goals.
- Experience leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful programs.

This position is classified
Hybrid. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a regular basis with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
