What You Will Do

• Provide contractual guidance to cross functional partners to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
• Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
• Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development and negotiation of proposals, contractual agreements, and general contract administration.
• Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
• Facilitate and ensure communication and coordination with the internal/external customer program team.
• Adhere to and comply with standardized corporate procedures and compliance documentation.
• Disseminate (“Flowdown”) customer contractual requirements within the organization.
• Act as liaison between internal and external customers and respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work autonomously with oversight.
• Contract closeout activities including material and property dispositioning, patent reporting and final invoicing.

What You Will Learn:

• Take an active role in managing contracts and engaging directly with program leadership.
• Exposure to business management reviews with leadership support such as quarterly EAC Reviews.
• How to effectively negotiate and resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Experience in contracts management of U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).

Qualifications

We Prefer:

• Experience preparing and negotiating Sole Source and Competitive Proposals Ability to consistently apply company policy and procedures governing all aspects of contract management and TINA compliance.
• Ability to manage a high volume of contracts simultaneously ranging from large multi-year support programs to small repairs.
• Experience in contracts negotiations, execution, and administration of various contracts aspects, including price, Statement of Work, terms and conditions.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) requirements.
• Understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification.
• Ability to multi-task with routine and complex contract/proposal activities while responding to emerging quick response activities.
• Experience with direct engagement with external customers.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U. S. -based role.
