The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Facilities Team :
RTX has an opening for a Facilities - Custodial Supervisor Team Lead 1 (Supervisor, Facilities) position. This a First Shift role.
The Facilities – Custodial Supervisor Team Lead 1 will be responsible for daily oversight of custodial services and custodial personnel. Employees in this job class perform a variety of functions to ensure facilities are clean and free of safety hazards.
This job requires knowledge of custodial practices, custodial equipment, customer service techniques, computers, training, coaching, scheduling and the ability to organize and manage multiple projects plus strong knowledge of custodial best practices, safety rules, regulations and procedures as well as a strong knowledge and/or experience gained in a leadership or supervisory role.
What You Will Do :
- Coordinates, directs, schedules custodial staff and contracted personnel in performing custodial services.
- Maintains professional relationships with site customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Conducts facility walks, quality control inspections, safety audits and provides feedback to personnel and customers as appropriate.
- Supervises staff; ensures competent, motivated staff through hiring, training, counseling, and reviewing performance.
- Schedules and prioritizes tasks, and ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
- Reviews employee timecards for accuracy verify hours worked and processes PTO according to payroll procedures.
- Monitors absences, sick and vacation days of personnel and to ensure departmental coverage and customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Work occasional overtime and Saturday and Sunday hours as required .
Qualifications
You Must Have:
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in maintenance and a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering Business Administration, Management, or related field or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
- 1+ years’ Custodial best practices, safety rules, regulations and procedures.
- 1+ years methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment used in cleaning offices and buildings,
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- This is an onsite role qualified candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the Tucson AZ facility.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
