What You Will Do

• Collaborate with Facilities and Manufacturing Engineers, production floor operators, and support staff to address and resolve site-related issues.
• Implement continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and develop creative solutions to address and improve site safety concerns.
• Assist with shop floor layouts and help maintain systems to ensure the facility is prepared for production, including planning for new machinery installations or relocations.
• Support projects aimed at achieving site safety and sustainability goals.

What You Will Learn:

• Gain hands-on experience with a variety of manufacturing techniques used to produce advanced electronic equipment.
• Develop an understanding of systems for maintaining and improving aerospace electronics manufacturing processes.
• Learn to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively, balancing workloads and deadlines.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM major through the completion of the co-op session.
• Completed a minimum of 60 credit hours prior to the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Qualifications We Prefer:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience using CAD software.
• Basic knowledge of electronics.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
