• Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for factory production support.
• The individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test.
• This position will reside in the Manufacturing Engineering department.
• Your responsibilities will include evaluating test results of complex assemblies and determining root cause of failures.
• You will give directions for reworking and retesting failed assemblies.
• You will track trends to detect systemic problems.
• You will work closely with multiple functions such as manufacturing engineering, factory operations, and quality engineers to develop improvements in areas like yields, test procedures, cycle time, etc.
• The work assignment will be a first-shift role, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday with an optional 9/80 schedule.
• Occasional weekend work may be required to support factory operations.

What You Will Do

• Troubleshooting systems failing test, identifying failure cause, documenting and dispositioning hardware for repair
• Operation of electrical test equipment
• Investigation of failure trends for root cause, implementation of corrective actions, supporting team leads in drafting and presenting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) packages to management
• Participation in teams tasked with resolving technical issues, improving test yields, and reducing test cycle time
• Hands-on engagement with hardware within a factory environment

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting test results
• Experience developing and executing a test plan for issue resolution (including designing and implementing test equipment)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e., power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources, logic analyzers, etc.)
• Experience in developing and implementing basic software applications
• Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics, using Python and TestStand
• Experience with EO/IR systems in a production environment
• Experience in data analysis for identifying trends and improvement opportunities and investigating root cause and corrective actions

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
