At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious Regional Director, Sales to help us establish RobCo as leading provider of automation solutions.
In this key role, you act as the catalyst for RobCo’s enterprise growth across the US market, driving large-scale industrial adoption of our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform. You will lead high-impact sales strategies, build strategic relationships with executive stakeholders in key industrial sectors, and scale our enterprise footprint from the ground up.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive Regional Revenue: Lead and execute the US enterprise sales strategy to achieve and exceed ambitious revenue and market-penetration targets.
- Build Executive Relationships: Target, engage, and secure long-term partnerships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across mid-market and Fortune 500 manufacturing and industrial enterprises.
- Champion Technical Solutions: Direct complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles by clearly communicating the strategic, financial, and technical ROI of RobCo’s modular robotics and physical AI solutions.
- Scale Enterprise Footprint: Identify and unlock new market verticals and geographic opportunities across North America to continually expand the sales pipeline.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with Solution Engineering and Product teams to align client requirements with product capabilities and deliver seamless rollouts.
- Forecast with Accuracy: Maintain meticulous pipeline hygiene, actionable sales reporting, and highly accurate quarterly/annual revenue forecasts in Salesforce.
- Represent the Brand: Position RobCo as the premier AI-driven automation provider through representation at key industry events, panel discussions, and executive roundtables.
- Team Leadership & Enablement: Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Senior Account Executives, driving quota attainment, pipeline growth, and continuous performance management.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or comparable experience.
- Proven track record of sales leadership, with demonstrated success enabling Senior Account Executives to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Several years of experience (8+) in Enterprise SaaS or Hardware/Robotics Sales, specifically closing complex, high-value B2B deals within the US industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding enterprise sales quotas ($2M+ ARR responsibility) and managing complex, multi-month deal cycles.
- Deep understanding of industrial automation, manufacturing workflows, or Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) models.
- Willingness to travel up to 50-75% within North America for client meetings, trade shows, onsite evaluations, and international team offsites.
- Culture-aligned mindset: Strong ownership mindset, high drive for results, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented working style in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Why join RobCo?
- Develop modular, software-defined robotics solutions with us that set new standards in automation.
- Help us build robots equipped with state-of-the-art AI that perceive their environment, analyze data, and make intelligent decisions in real time.
- As part of a very dynamic and fast-growing scale-up, you will take on responsibility from day one, drive your own projects, and see the direct impact of your work.
- Flat hierarchies, open communication, and regular 360° feedback enable fast decisions and support your professional and personal development.
- Competitive compensation and benefits package - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) plan.
- Unlimited paid time off incl. major holidays.
- Company-sponsored onboarding and team offsites in Germany.
- Access to gyms and wellness perks through a ClassPass membership.
