About River
River builds AI voice agents that sell for B2B SaaS companies. Our agent qualifies prospects, handles hard questions, and demos the product live in a browser while it talks. We just closed our pre-seed (backed by the founders of Ramp, Kalshi, and JumpCloud) and have paying customers.
The role
You'll build River's agent: how it listens, reasons, calls tools, drives a browser, and handles a buyer who goes off script. You'll join a small founding team and work directly with the founders.
What we look for
- 3+ years shipping software, with senior or founding-level ownership of a product in production
- You've shipped agents real people relied on, and can walk us through what broke
- You've built agent capabilities beyond off-the-shelf tools: tool use, memory, planning
- You find the problem, propose the fix, and ship it
Nice to have:
voice or real-time (WebRTC, streaming), browser automation, a startup of your own.
The details
- In person in New York, relocation supported
- $160K to $220K base, around 1% equity
- US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship
