Role Overview

The Channel Marketing Manager will be a key driver of regional channel growth, partner enablement, and go-to-market execution for Renesas Power, Analog, and mixed-signal solutions.

This role connects product strategy, regional market requirements, and distributor execution to accelerate demand creation, improve partner readiness, and expand adoption of Renesas solutions across industrial, infrastructure, energy, building automation, and embedded system applications.

The role requires strong channel marketing expertise, deep semiconductor market understanding, and hands-on experience in Power, Analog, and mixed-signal portfolios. The successful candidate will work across sales, product groups, distributors, ecosystem partners, and marketing teams to deliver measurable business impact through partner-led campaigns, solution positioning, and market development programs.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Strategy & Market Development

  • Own and drive regional channel marketing strategy aligned with global solution marketing and product group priorities.
  • Develop channel-specific growth programs for Power, Analog, and mixed-signal solutions across distributors, mass-market customers, and strategic partners.
  • Identify high-growth application segments through TAM / SAM / SOM analysis, funnel insights, distributor feedback, and competitive intelligence.

Partner Enablement & Demand Generation

  • Build and execute partner enablement programs that equip distributors and channel partners to position Renesas solutions effectively.
  • Product and solution training for Power, Analog, and mixed-signal portfolios
  • Partner-ready pitch decks, battle cards, application notes, and sales playbooks
  • Campaign kits, webinar content, roadshow material, and lead-generation assets
  • Drive joint campaigns with distributors and channel partners to generate qualified opportunities and accelerate funnel conversion.
  • Track campaign performance, partner adoption, lead quality, and revenue contribution to continuously improve channel marketing ROI.

Solution Positioning & Technical Marketing

  • Translate complex Power, Analog, and mixed-signal product capabilities into clear customer value propositions for channel partners and end customers.
  • Collaborate with product groups, sales, FAEs, and solution teams to define application-focused messaging, reference solutions, and differentiated use cases.
  • Support solution proposals with technical positioning, application block diagrams, BOM-level value analysis, and competitive differentiation.

Go-to-Market Execution & Distributor Programs

  • Lead regional GTM execution for channel-led growth programs in alignment with global solution marketing priorities.
  • Develop compelling campaign themes, solution messaging, value propositions, application examples, and partner-facing launch packages.
  • Partner closely with sales and channel teams to support mass-market initiatives, distributor readiness, webinars, trainings, MARCOM campaigns, roadshows, caravans, and incentive programs.
  • Define measurable campaign targets, including partner engagement, leads generated, opportunity conversion, revenue influence, and design-win contribution.

Channel, Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze distributor performance, channel coverage, customer segments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis for target Bills of Materials (BOMs), power management architectures, analog signal-chain solutions, and system-level alternatives.
  • Collect and synthesize partner feedback, sales insights, customer requirements, and product group inputs to refine positioning and campaign focus.

Performance Measurement & Channel ROI

  • Track partner-led funnel progression, campaign performance, design-in activity, design-win influence, and direct/indirect revenue contribution using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize channel programs, improve campaign conversion, and prioritize high-value Power, Analog, and mixed-signal opportunities.

Key Stakeholders

  • Proven track record of working with distributors, channel partners, or ecosystem partners to execute demand-generation and market-development programs.
  • Ability to convert technical product strengths into differentiated channel messaging, partner sales tools, and customer-facing value propositions.
  • Demonstrated experience in GTM execution, campaign planning, partner enablement, funnel management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and program execution skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
