Bend Studio, renowned creator of Days Gone , Uncharted: Golden Abyss , and Syphon Filter , is seeking outstanding talent to join our passionate and creative team in crafting our next high-profile AAA title.
We are seeking a Community Manager to deliver execution of marketing and social strategies to support the game and its players. In this role, you will be embedded with our community and act as a voice of the studio to incentivize long-term retention, create engaging content to help shape the identity of all public-facing channels, and drive daily engagement with our players.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of communication skills, creativity, and passion for our games to represent our players and our studio.
This role is eligible for full remote work.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the community daily through our official social media channels.
- Actively stay on current trends that relate to our brand and games to create engaging and original content.
- Collaborate effectively with Marketing, PR, and Product to execute social strategies and community initiatives.
- Partner with prominent community members.
- Develop strategies to help our social media channels grow and convert community members to community leaders.
- Moderate player discussions online and escalate appropriate action internally.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for our players across all spaces.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Community Manager or related field.
- Strong understanding of community and social media engagement in the video game industry.
- Strong collaboration skills with a commitment to positive team culture.
- Ability to act quickly in a fast-paced environment to meet various deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in various platforms including Discord, TikTok, X, Instagram, and Twitch.
- Must love games and have a passion for creating them!
- At SIE, working with our partners, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
- Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
