Role Summary

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to take the Photoroom app to the next level for the millions of people who use it every day. You'll own features from architecture to polished interface, ship weekly, and help shape the product roadmap while collaborating closely with Engineering Management, Design, and Product.

Compensation: €90k-110k depending on experience + BSPCE

Location: Paris, France, with an in-office presence 3 days per week.

This is a Paris- or Île-de-France-based role, and we do not accept remote applications. We offer substantial relocation support (€10k signing bonus), including help finding an apartment in Paris and visa assistance.

About the Role

  • Build and ship new features for an app used and loved by millions, regularly featured by Apple, with a 4.8 App Store rating.
  • Own your work from A to Z, from architecture and coding to polishing top-notch interfaces that deliver a delightful user experience.
  • Ship a new version of the app every week, follow product usage closely, and make decisions based on fast user feedback.
  • Shape the product roadmap and new features together with Engineering Management, Design, and Product.
  • Raise the bar for the whole team through your code, your reviews, and by sharing your knowledge and experience, while learning or deepening your knowledge of technologies like Metal, Core Image, and CoreML.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience on iOS, mostly on consumer apps.
  • Strong experience with Swift and modern frameworks.
  • You care deeply about user experience and have shipped interfaces you are proud of.
  • Strong sense of ownership: you take initiative and are comfortable making product and technical decisions.
  • Pragmatic and iteration-driven: you favor speed of iteration over perfection and believe fast iteration is the best way to learn.
  • Fluent in English (French is not required).
  • [Nice-to-have] Curious about the latest trends in the iOS ecosystem and active in the community (Do iOS, Swift Connection, etc.).

Hiring Process
