MODS is the NVIDIA diagnostic tool for GPU. Become a Data Center MODS Manager at NVIDIA in Taipei, Taiwan. You will help hire more engineers to build up the team, and work with the US and India MODS team to strengthen the team's expertise.
This is not a pure manager work, you will need to have strong technical background that could discuss with engineers and brainstorm and guide engineer and even doing hands on work. This is an opportunity to influence the future of computing.
What you'll be doing:
- Prioritize to support MODS issue reported from local NPI projects
- Work with customer diag team for resolve customer MODS issues
- On the engineer management side, we want the manager to continue to groom future technical leaders in the team and recruit new talent.
- Build the culture of engineer excellence to be able to drive root cause of critical issues and embrace corrective actions, and keep improve our software quality
- Adopt AI to improve team's efficiency and quality
What we need to see:
- Bachelor of science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ overall years of system software experience, deep understanding of software development principles, comfortable working in large code space and deep driver stack with 4+ years of team management experience
- Good system design skills
- Good programming skills in C/C++, python programming is a plus.
- Solid understanding in computer architecture, operating system, kernel driver, device programming.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Knowledge of GPU compute or server product technologies like BMC (Baseboard Management Controller), Infiniband, PCIE, NVLink.
- Strong experience to engineer software with consideration of RAS
- Comfortable with unknown and change
