At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives. Join our team and help students write their new story.

As a Student Services Coordinator at New Story Schools, you will play a key role in supporting students, families, and school teams by coordinating special education processes and ensuring compliance with state and district requirements.

You'll help manage student records, IEP timelines, attendance, reevaluations, and communication across multiple schools while maintaining accurate documentation and strong relationships with families and district partners.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Education preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines independently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining confidential student records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong technology skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently across multiple school locations

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate IEPs, reevaluations, attendance, truancy, and student records
  • Maintain accurate special education documentation and ensure compliance with timelines
  • Communicate with families, school staff, clinicians, and district representatives
  • Support multiple schools by managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate services
  • Maintain confidential student information and ensure data accuracy
