About this role
What You’ll Need
- Current Pennsylvania Certified School Nurse certification
- Active LPN or RN
- Experience providing nursing services to children
- Knowledge of medical conditions, treatment, and school health regulations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective during medical or behavioral emergencies
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct care, first aid, and emergency medical response for students
- Manage medication administration, documentation, and physician communication
- Develop and monitor individualized health plans for students with medical needs
- Educate staff and families on health procedures, safety, and infection control
- Collaborate with school teams to promote health, wellness, and safety standards
