Research and Audience Analysis Intern - Universal Global Distribution

The Audience Insights & Analysis department is responsible for supporting NBCU’s international channels (Networks), content licensing (TVD) and production (Studios) businesses with audience based quantitative and qualitative reporting, insight and strategic analysis in all international territories across all content platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver ad hoc analysis and insights across varied departments including sales, advertising, finance, programming, marketing and strategy.
• Produce and deliver presentations to groups on key market trends including TV, film, advertising, new technologies, AI and more.
• Develop new and innovative techniques for analysis, automation, innovation and insights.
• Leverage AI to enhance, augment and innovate across the department.

Basic Requirements:

• Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables & Macros is desirable but not definitive)
• Comfortable using AI tools such as Copilot responsibly
• Excellent attention to detail
• Well organized with great prioritization skills
• Be a good communicator with an analytical mind and a desire to learn
• Understanding of the Australian & American media landscapes, particularly TV

Desired Characteristics:

• Understanding of PivotTables, Formulas and LookUp Functions.
• Python/JavaScript skills desirable but by no means essential and training can be provided
• Passion for Media industry

This part-time internship requires a 9-month commitment from March 2027 to December 2027.
